Welcome to Inter-Action Hobbies! Craftsman quality model kits and details.
We're finally back! Our online store is back open for orders. We have some good news and bad news though.
The Good News!
We had an awesome camping trip! We went through the interior of BC, Idaho, northern Nevada and then a little bit of eastern Washington as we made our way back. We had a great time and hope to do a similar trip next year!
The Bad News! (for our US customers, 50% tariffs, but we'll cover 25% of that)
Well, our model railroad kits got hit with a 50% tariff for orders going to the US. We never thought our model kits would be caught in the middle of a trade war between Canada and the US, but here we are.
We value our US customers and, frankly, we can't stay in business without you, so we will cover 25% of this tariff for now, leaving 25% payable on each order to the US.
• Tariff split: We will temporarily pay 25% of the US tariff, leaving you responsible for the remaining 25% payable per order.
• Sustainability: We cannot guarantee how long we can absorb this 25% cost.
• Outlook: We are hoping the trade war resolves soon(ish).
For US orders, this tariff is charged on your order under "taxes" and will amount to 25% of your order (not including shipping). We pre-pay the full 50% tariff when we ship your order, so you will not be charged anything more when you receive your order.
