The Moonshiner’s Cabin is themed after a typical 1 room cabin in which a ‘shiner’, miner or trapper would inhabit. This version is inspired from the movie “Untouchables” in which Eliot Ness and his band of do-gooders stake out Al Capone’s whisky runners just south of the Canadian border waiting for the border deal to happen, thus getting the ledger that eventually puts Capone away. This little cabin will be at home anywhere on your layout and especially in the foreground with the optional rocking chair animation and interior detail kit.

The Optional Detail Kit includes a rocking chair animation and makes this little building a big star! The smooth back and forth motion of a real rocking chair is mimicked by our accurately aligned cam wheel and geared motor assembly. When you glue your favorite seated figure into the rocking chair, it really gives some old world charm to this awesome scene on the front porch. The detail continues when you peer in the windows or lift the roof and see the full interior in all its glory. Cupboards, table and chairs, dresser, bed, stove, fireplace, pots, pans, dishes, and clutter fill this little home and bring it to life.
In order to install the rocking chair animation on your layout, you will need a space of 2-3/16” below the supplied MDF building base as shown below.
